Philips Metal Industries is the largest manufacturer, exporter, stockist, and supplier of high quality Stainless Steel 347 / 347H Corrugated Tubes. Many industries, including chemical processing, aerospace, oil and gas, etc., use these tubes. Tantalum and columbium addition mitigates the growth of chromium carbide in SS 347H Corrugated Tubes (as well as UNS S34709 and WNR 1.4961). Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel stabilized with tantalum and columbium, SS 347 Seamless Corrugated Tubes (also known as UNS S34700 and WNR 1.4550) was industrialized to provide an 18-8 type alloy through improved intergranular corrosion resistance.
A group of highly qualified professionals strictly oversees the production of the goods that the sector offers to consumers. They are providing the works at the production stage with invaluable advice. Additionally, a quality control team is employed to assist in maintaining the quality of the tubes based on requirements for quality measurements. The most recent technology and contemporary tools are used to make the product effective. According to predetermined production guidelines and requirements for product quality, the tubes are made. Alloy 347 is a columbium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel alloy. Both in mildly oxidizing environments and in vigorous ones, it exhibits good corrosion resistance. In the temperature range of 800-1500 degrees Fahrenheit, at which chromium carbide precipitates, it also has a good resistance to intergranular corrosion. Furthermore, at temperatures between 1500 and 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, it possesses superior creep strength, oxidation resistance, and enhanced low temperature toughness. The creation of the 347H alloy, which has a high carbon content, aims to increase strength and improve creep resistance.
The required testing and inspection must be carried out under the supervision of qualified personnel in order to produce an error-free and high-quality range product. Similar tests include the PMI test, hardness test, IGC test, chemical analysis, mechanical test, ultrasonic test, and third-party inspection. Under the supervision of qualified test controllers from the sector, all such tests are carried out.
Our teams responsible for quality control make sure that every 347/347H stainless steel corrugated tube is put through all the quality testing stages in accordance with international quality standards. We have also implemented a uniform packing procedure for our products at Philips Metal Mill. To ensure damage-free transportation, we pack tubes with the proper and appropriate material. At the client's location, we deliver these tubes at a predetermined time.
